Week Eighteen in the Mission Field

This has been a long time coming, sorry for the wait.

The last time I sent a letter home I was in Sebring, but for the last 6 weeks I have been in Leesburg. I have been companions with Elder Malouf who is almost done with his mission. I have very much enjoyed the time that I have spent here playing pickleball. I have also spent most of my time with the other Elders that we share an apartment with who are Elder Niles and Elder Hunsaker. Elder Niles is the district leader for our small group of missionaries and is also engaged to his fiancee and has a date already picked out for when he gets back home. Elder Hunsaker is like that little brother that just wants to make jokes and they are almost always funny.

Story time of being in Leesburg: There was the time that our car broke down so we had to spend the whole day waiting for the towing company to pick us up. Funny thing is we were leaking gas so the fire truck had to come and check us before a tow truck could help us. Another funny thing was we had a massive thunderstorm and lots of rain so we had to help people get to their cars after church with umbrellas.

In my time here in Leesburg, I have made good friends and found two people who could very possibly be new members. I have seen lots of different kinds of miracles and have loved serving a mission. Sadly I am being transferred to the Lake Mary, Sanford area. It has been a long but grateful six weeks.

Everyone back home I love ya, and I look forward to getting to tell some stories that I have had on my mission already. I don't know when my next letter will be, but I will try to make it on time and not 6 weeks late.
